About & Programs
Learning by Doing. Growing in Nature.Riverside Farm School is a small, nature-based learning community on a working farm in Sumner, Washington, serving children ages 6–12.We believe some of the most meaningful learning happens when children get their hands dirty, ask questions, explore the outdoors, and discover how things work. Our program blends academics, agriculture, science, creativity, and practical life skills through hands-on experiences. From caring for animals and growing plants to building projects, experimenting, cooking, and exploring nature, the farm becomes our classroom. Our Weekly ProgramsEach day has its own theme, with reading, writing, math, science, creativity, and problem-solving woven throughout the week.
